COMMUNITIES

Republic of Cameroon

Noah’s Country Club

In collaboration with Yannick Noah (former ATP Tennis Professional), and son, Joakim Noah (former NBA basketball player), Altitude Water launched the Water to Africa initiative in Yaounde, Cameroon, location of tennis and basketball programs at the Noah’s Country Club.

With the purchase of 4 Trident Series (T-12), Yannick and Joakim have taken the first step to bring clean drinking water into the African communities that they touch.

With a long-term plan of connecting communities around the world, Altitude Water is working together with its network of partners, corporations, and community organizations, to start the conversation about water, and how to take care of it.

For the last 20 years JFG (a Non-Profit) has been a staple in the Northwest part of Cameroon. We started working with JFG when Aquavera met them in Paris, and they discussed the AWG Technology and our water projects.

JFG recommended Cameroon and the villages they work with as the first project. JFG donated the land for the Water Hub and previously donated the school to the village of Maka.

We met JFG and spent 5 days on site in April 2022 and again in April 2023. This last trip the Foundation purchased 4 T-12s for the Foundation grounds and donated 1 to a local hospital. It is a honor to expand our initial relationship to expand outside of Maka and introduce our technology to other industries in need of Pure Drinking water such as hospitals.

Village of Maka

JFG is a nonprofit that has been operating in Bamega Cameroon for over 20 years and has had multiple programs as well as schools they had donated to villages.

Our team did on-site visits, took Wi-Fi readings, mapped out the preliminary schematics of the hub, met with the king of the region to get approval.

Started working on the testing for the temperature and humidity levels in Maka.

Testing of prototype and new software upgrades complete—ready to test with solar and upgrades of software for communication between systems.

The Water Hub has been completed in October 2024. Since turning on the taps, a village that averaged 6 water related deaths/yr have had zero deaths but also zero hospital visits for water related illnesses.

THIRST-FREE FUTURE

Hydrate The World

Our plan to hydrate the world starts with local drinking water production and delivery; expands beyond community boundaries by word-of-mouth facilitating the Water Warriors; educates the next generation on water, the water cycle, water protection, water uses like soil & hydroponic gardening, micro economics; and sustains accessibility to clean drinking water around the world.
