Yes. In many cases, the unit can operate very well outdoors, where it has direct access to ambient air and humidity. However, when temperatures drop below 65°F (18°C), it may perform better indoors where the air is warmer.
If placing the unit outside, we recommend positioning it under some form of cover to protect it from the elements. While the internal components and circuit boards are water-resistant, the system still operates on electricity, and heavy rain or severe weather could affect performance.
Covered balconies or sheltered outdoor spaces are often ideal locations. Additionally, we strongly recommend using a surge protector to protect the machine from electrical fluctuations.
