Altitude Water machines use a two-stage filtration and mineralization process to ensure the water is both clean and balanced.
The first stage is a 5-micron carbon block filter, which removes impurities and captures any inactive bacteria after the ozone purification process.
The second stage is a mineral cartridge filled with a natural calcite mineral blend. This filter adds beneficial minerals such as calcium, magnesium, and trace minerals back into the water. In addition to improving taste, this process helps raise and balance the pH, typically bringing the water to around pH 8.1.
